After a trip to Austria and Germany, I realized that their approach to bedding might solve my problem. I felt our king size down comforter (supposedly a lightweight comforter) was heavy and pulling down on me, like I was drowning and always fighting with it. I loved the individual comforters we experienced during our travels! But, I was concerned about investing in two comforters and covers sight unseen and called Renate twice to ask questions! I was worried about the smaller twin size. Would they be big enough? I could not remember if the ones we used in Europe were actually as small as these. My husband is 6 feet tall. I hoped the summer weight would be warm, but not too hot. And I wanted them to have some fluff but not too much. Oh, and I did not want the duvet cover to add too much weight! Can you tell I was nervous? Well, it all arrived and it is perfect!! I am free of all that other oppressive bedding and sleeping so comfortably. Thank you, Renate!

The two European twin down comforters are the perfect size for our queen bed. I fold the two comforters in thirds (like a letter) when I make the bed, just like we did when we lived in Germany. It is very light yet warm. We'll see what it is like when we turn the air conditioner on this summer. I am so glad I found the down comforter store online. Now I will have to purchase the all season for the winter!

Already had the year-round comforters but as temperatures got into the 70's wanted something cooler. The summer weight is perfect and the quality and service unsurpassed. We will enjoy these for many years.
