We just returned from a trip to Europe, where we fell in love with the "each person gets their own comforter" way of making a king bed. We also fell in love with the (substantially better quality) down that we encountered there. After a long search we found The Down Comforter Store, called them, explained what we were looking for, and they nailed it. We bought two 800 fill power scandinavian goose european twin comforters, plus two matching duvet covers, and absolutely couldn't be happier with the quality and of course the excellent service. Now I understand the reviews which said using this comforter is like sleeping under a cloud; it is unbelievably light, but seems to radiate heat. Really toasty. Quite astonishing. I have traded it out for the summer weight comforter for the moment and will get it out again when our Idaho winter begins. It has a bit of a crinkle to it, but apparently this is the mite-proof cotton, so I can live with the crinkle. You don't notice it when you are under the comforter! Definitely high quality, and qualm-free because made in Denmark, with the highest standards.

The quality of this comforter is so exceptional. It’s so nice to sleep in the European style with each person having his/her own comforter. No more tugging for my share of comforter in the middle of the night. The weight of the comforter is great and has kept me warm this winter. I’ll likely invest in the summer weight as well so I’m covered year round. I am extremely happy with my purchase. I emailed a question and had a response almost immediately. My comforter shipped right after I ordered it and come very quickly. Great customer service!
