Scandinavian DUCK European / US Twin Down Comforter SUMMER *Great Value*

Seems a bit warmer then I had hoped for Thought it was summer weight

We changed from a cozy stack of three blankets to two, individual down comforters (Scandinavian duck European twin size--they are narrower than a US twin) two months ago. What an unexpected difference it has made in our sleep! Because each of us has a soft cover of our very own, there is no sleep lost to wrangling the covers as our partner turns over--but it doesn't affect our togetherness. The European twin size is narrower than a US twin width, and still more than ample to blanket a single person. So they fit well on the bed. It's kinda perfect. Immediately--the first night and every night since--we have slept hours longer without interruption, each night. I am so surprised when I wake up and realize the deep sleep I have enjoyed. We now sleep on a bottom sheet plus the two twin-size comforters each in a very soft duvet cover--all from TheDownComforterStore. This is a lightweight, but warm comforter that is just right. We paired it with the duvet cover which makes it feel more substantial, but still light and airy. We love it! After travellng to Europe and finding we liked having the separate blankets, we decided to try these at home. Great choice for people who like to kick off the covers and it takes away the nightly tug on the covers. Great for a better night's sleep. Highly recommend.

I am so glad we finally took the leap to purchase these twin comforters! We have talked about it for years- how lovely it was sleeping under them in our travels- why did we wait so long!? So soft and comfortable. The summer weight is perfect for summer in SC- in an air conditioned house! I’ll be curious to see if they’re adequate for winter- but if not, I know where to get a warmer winter version! Thank you!!

My first night's sleep under this duvet was a fairly warm one and I was concerned at the outset that I was going to be too hot. My fears went away quickly when I realized that the duvet seemed to be regulating my temperature. Plus, if I felt a little too warm, I could easily kick out a foot or pull out an arm to cool down a little. I'm looking forward to many years of comfort with this duvet.
