I was very pleased at how smooth and luxurious these felt out of the package. Once I washed them, however, they did not feel nearly as smooth. I hope they will improve as time goes by. Also, neither one has a pull-tab on the zipper. I checked my washer and dryer to see if perhaps they had come off in the wash but could not find them.
Response from TDS: Thank you for your honest feedback. All of our classic white and white striped duvet covers come without the wrinkle free chemicals, which might make them appear not as smooth directly after washing. Also, non of the white and white striped, nor the children's duvet covers come with pull-tab zippers in order to prevent children to open them accidentally. It's not a defect on the product.

I'm very pleased with my purchase of the twin duvet cover case. I purchased my duvet in Europe and it's been difficult to find a replacement cover case here in the US. I'm very happy with the quality of this product and will definitely place future orders with The Down Comforter Store.

I ordered four duvet covers thinking that the material would be standard quality but when I received them I was shocked to find out just how soft the cotton truly was. My housekeeper immediately noticed the difference in quality between our old duvet covers and the new ones. These covers are definitely not 'standard' quality. Attention was paid to every detail. The zippers are without pulls so you never feel anything harsh against your skin. I would highly recommend these covers to anyone thinking of purchasing them.
